About the Event
The “Zoo-de-Mackinac” is a weekend of huge parties with great bands, one of the most scenic bicycle rides in the country, lots of sunshine, views of the mighty Mackinac Bridge, and one magical island.

ZOO-DE-MACK SHUTTLE TICKETS
For over 30 years, Big Bear Adventures has been the exclusive transportation provider for registered Zoo-De-Mack participants who are in need of assistance with shuttling themselves and/or their bike during the weekend event. We have several options to choose from – please review ALL options.
LOCATIONS FOR DEPARTURES/DROP-OFFS:
Mackinaw City (Friday); North Central Trail Head 118 E. Central Ave.
Mackinaw City (Saturday & Sunday): Arnold Transit Co. (formally Star Line Ferry Dock) 801 S. Huron St.
The Highlands: Main parking lot in front of the ski lodge
Cross Village: Cross Village general store/gas station 5948 W. Levering Rd.
We offer 4 “People Only” Shuttle Options that save $$ and Hassle!
By dropping off your bike FRIDAY at the Highlands in the secure bike storage area prior to Saturday’s ride makes everything easier!
– This option SAVES YOU $$ – It’s less expensive for the shuttle for individuals without their bikes!
– This SAVES YOU TIME – You won’t have to wait for our team to load all of the bikes!
– Saves possible wear and tear on your bike – you are the only one transporting your bike!
PLEASE NOTE: ZDM Wristbands are Required for all Shuttle Services!
PRICES – REGISTER EARLY AND $AVE!
- EARLY BIRD SPECIAL! Until midnight February 28th: $29 per person (people ONLY shuttles)
- Until Midnight May 1st: $35 – $43 per person
- May 2nd – midnight Thursday, May 14th: $39 – $45 per person
- Online sales CLOSE midnight on Thursday, May 14th
- After the May 14th midnight cutoff (based on availability) you may be able to purchase tickets onsite at the Highlands Friday night and Saturday morning near registration. The onsite price will be $40-$45 (+3.75% processing fee if using credit card).
- “Walk-on” tickets will be available IF there is room on any particular shuttle for $45-$50 (+3.75% processing fee if using credit card).
CANCELLATION POLICY
Cancellations with refunds are only available through May 1st. A refund will be issued minus a 10% handling fee. Absolutely NO REFUNDS starting May 2nd. You may cancel or rebook online via a link in your confirmation email until this time. After this time, you may call or email to move your booking to a different time, but not to cancel.

Drop your car off Friday night in Mackinaw City and take the shuttle back to the Highlands with plenty of time to catch the party! Ideal for anyone who is staying at the Highlands 2 nights -OR- simply wants to have their vehicle easy to access on Saturday night or Sunday.
IMPORTANT: This shuttle is for PEOPLE & LUGGAGE ONLY! You must drop your bike at the Highlands (in their secure storage area) before you drop your car in Mackinaw City to take the shuttle.

TRANSPORTING: People and luggage ONLY! NO BIKES!
PRICE: EARLY BIRD SPECIAL: ONLY $29 through midnight February 28th! / March 1st – May 1st: $35 pp / Starting May 2nd: $39 pp / Friday night (5/15): $40 pp / On-Site Walk-On (if available): $45 ppThis shuttle to the Highlands departs from Arnold Transit Co. in Mackinaw City. Ideal for anyone staying in Mackinaw City both nights who needs a ride to the start AND have already dropped off their bike at the Highlands (in their secure storage area).
IMPORTANT: This shuttle is for people ONLY, so it is important to drop off your bike(s) at the Highlands on Friday Night prior to the event, which will eliminate the need to shuttle your bike Saturday morning, therefore saving time and money!
PLEASE NOTE: If you are staying overnight on the island Friday night, you will not be able to take this shuttle due to the ferry schedule

IMPORTANT: This shuttle fills up FAST, so reserve early! If this option fills up, you can also take the SUNDAY SHUTTLES back to the Highlands.
PLEASE NOTE: If you are staying overnight on Mackinac Island Friday night, you will NOT be able to take this shuttle due to the ferry schedule!

PRICE: Before May 2nd: $43 pp / Starting May 2nd: $45 pp / Friday night (5/15) or Saturday morning (5/16): $45 pp / On-Site Walk-On (if available): $50 ppThis shuttle departs from the Highlands parking lot and arrives at the only general store / gas station in Cross Village, which is one block away from Legg’s Inn. Ideal for anyone who would prefer to skip the first half of the bike ride either due to time constraints or to skip the more physically demanding portion of the ride.

DEPARTING: The only gas station in Cross Village to the Highlands
TRANSPORTING: People, bikes, and luggage

Ideal for anyone who would prefer to ride the more scenic first half of the trip but skip the second half due to time constraints or physical limitations.
PLEASE NOTE: This option is perfect for anyone that wants to retrieve their vehicle from the Highlands and drive to Mackinaw City to meet their group.
